Rejected

If you’ve been rejected
it may hurt for a moment
but it does not define you
it does not nullify your existence
it does not denounce your talent
it does not sully your character
it does not rebuff your opinion
it does not refute your capacity to love
it does not deny your dreams
it merely clarifies that whatever it was
or whoever he or she or they were
it wasn’t meant for you
you may have to change your path a little
but you still have a golden path ahead
